[Our Journey]

A Legacy of Engineering Excellence Since 1888

At Rivencore, our story spans more than a century of British engineering and innovation. Our heritage is rooted in two highly respected names – Aish Technologies and Aeronautical & General Instruments (AGI), whose combined expertise laid the foundation for who we are today.

Aish Technologies, founded in 1888, built its reputation designing and manufacturing naval control panels, consoles, and protection systems for navies and international defence customers. Over generations, Aish became known for safeguarding electronics in the harshest environments and for developing some of the most capable signature-managed protection systems in the world.

Aeronautical & General Instruments (AGI), established in 1915, brought a century of precision engineering to the global defence and civil markets. From advanced instrumentation and electro-optical systems to complex navigation and landing aids, AGI’s products became trusted across more than 50 countries for their reliability, accuracy, and endurance.

In 2017, our two companies came together to form the AGI Group, uniting our strengths in systems design, manufacturing, and lifecycle support. This integration created a stronger, more capable organisation, combining decades of experience across naval, aerospace, and civil domains.

As we evolved, AGI became Trident Maritime Systems UK, joining a global network of maritime engineering specialists and expanding our reach and technical expertise even further.

Today, we proudly continue that journey as Rivencore – a name that reflects our enduring strength and deep-rooted engineering heritage. Our capabilities span advanced protection and enclosure systems, precision sensors, navigation, lighting, and visual landing aids – all designed to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.

We’ve grown, adapted, and evolved – but our purpose remains the same: to engineer trusted, mission-ready systems that deliver absolute reliability on land, in the air, and at sea.
